Power Generation

In a power station, treatment chemicals are injected or fed to a boiler to make up water under pressure, but in small dosages or rate of injection. The feeding at all places is done by means of small capacity-middle and high pressure dosing pumps specially designed for the individual application. Typical chemicals are: phosphate dosing is done to prevent scale formation in boiler tubes and to maintain pH value to prevent corrosion as well as to avoid silica carry over by steam, oxygen scavenger, ammonia scavenger, amine (neutralize the carbonic acid formed in the condensate).
