Precise measurement of water-quality parameters

Overview
Dissolved Oxygen (DO) is the amount of oxygen dissolved in a unit of water. Oxygen gets into water by: diffusing within the
surrounding air, aeration (turbulent movement), and as a waste product from plants through photosynthesis. Galvanic DO sensors consist of two electrodes: an anode and cathode. Both of these electrodes are immersed in electrolytes (inside the sensor body).
Oxysens®
measures the electric current influenced by the oxygen partial pressure. It offers high accuracy but requires a flow rate ≥ 0.03 m/s and
voltage signal output. It is suitable for fish farming and biological treatment plants.

Optical measure using luminescence. Offers high accuracy, and comes with an RS 485 modbus RTU Protocol communication output
